Perth, WA — The Daffodil Chef Incorporated has launched a new website at thedaffodilchef.org.au, giving the Perth-based melanoma charity a permanent home to share its story, its mission, and how the community can get involved.
The new site brings together the charity’s history, its flagship annual dinner, its board, and its work with Melanoma Institute Australia in one place — making it easier than ever for supporters, sponsors and media to learn about the cause and lend their support.
The Daffodil Chef Incorporated was founded by Maryce Scriven in memory of her husband, chef Steven Scriven, who passed away from melanoma aged 32. What began as a single fundraising dinner has grown into an incorporated charity that has raised more than $100,000 for melanoma research and care.
“Having a proper home online means our story, our cause, and our work with Melanoma Institute Australia are easier to share than ever. We’re really proud of it.” — Maryce Scriven, President & Founder, The Daffodil Chef Incorporated
Visitors to the new website can read Steve’s story, learn about the charity’s upcoming events, discover how funds support Melanoma Institute Australia, and make a donation.
