Perth, WA — The Daffodil Chef Incorporated will host its flagship annual fundraising dinner on Saturday 1 August 2026 at Optus Stadium, Perth, bringing together more than 170 guests for an evening of gourmet dining in support of Melanoma Institute Australia.
Now in its ninth year, the Daffodil Chef Dinner has grown from 56 founding guests in 2018 to over 170 seats today, raising more than $100,000 for melanoma research and care. Every dollar raised, after event costs, goes directly to Melanoma Institute Australia.
The Daffodil Chef Incorporated was founded by Maryce Scriven in memory of her husband, chef Steven Scriven, who passed away from stage 4 metastatic melanoma at the age of 32, after a 14-month battle. The dinner began as a way to honour his love of bringing people together around the table — and has grown into one of Perth’s warmest nights of generosity for melanoma research.
“Steve loved bringing people together. Every year we get to honour that, and turn it into real support for melanoma research. We could not be more grateful to everyone who joins us.” — Maryce Scriven, President & Founder, The Daffodil Chef Incorporated
